Three Ways to Help Families Find Their Common Ground

A workshop, a toolkit, and a preparation series — each designed for a different starting point and a different kind of need.

Our Methodology

How We Think About Family Preparation

Concordo's approach is built on one straightforward observation: families that arrive at professional consultations having already communicated clearly with one another, organised their relevant information, and developed a basic understanding of the processes they are facing — those families have better experiences. They save time, reduce confusion, and make decisions from a more informed position.

Each of our three resources addresses one stage of that preparation. The workshop builds communication capacity. The toolkit builds organisational capacity. The preparation series builds process understanding. They can be used independently or in sequence.

1

Communicate

Develop the skills to have balanced, productive conversations about shared matters — without either party feeling unheard.

2

Organise

Gather and structure the relevant information, documents, and shared decisions so that everything is clear and accessible.

3

Prepare

Develop a plain-language understanding of how common family-transition processes are typically approached — so nothing comes as a surprise.
